LTU 2021 IGVC Robotics

63% of $4,000 goal
This campaign ended on May 15, 2021, but you can still make a gift to Lawrence Technological University by clicking here!

Blue Devils Robotics IGVC is Lawrence Technological University's intelligent ground vehicle competition team. The intelligent ground vehicle competition is a multidisciplinary collegiate competition in which teams build an autonomous off-road vehicle to compete in navigation and design competitions. With the help from our donors, we will expand the scope of our program and the innovation of our robot to engineer a superior autonomous vehicle. Our team consists of 6 students all with robotics engineering majors working together to apply and expand our knowledge along the way.

Halfway to our goal!

The 2021 team is proud to announce we have reached the halfway point of our goal thanks to some generous donations. We would like to spotlight the 2022 IGVC team on this update by showing their integration project to the 2021 team this year. The 2022 team was tasked with designing and building a battery charging cart with tools onboard. Both IGVC teams are happy to announce that this project was very successful and we look forward to competing with this in June. The 2022 team has not only completed the project requirements but they have exceeded them by adding an umbrella and plenty of space for tools and batteries. The teams cannot express enough gratitude for the donations so far and are hoping we can reach our goal of $4,000 within the next two weeks. Please make your gift today and show your support towards the IGVC Robotics team.

Team Update

The 2021 LTU IGVC team would love to thank all of the donors thus far. We have made great progress within the past week and couldn't have done it without everyone's support. A few updates on the team's progress include mounting all sensors, completing most wiring connections within the computing box, and testing the GPS. We wouldn't have been able to do all of this without our sponsors and support from friends and family. We have received some very generous donations of a subscription code from Hemisphere and a controller board from Texas Instruments. We thank everyone for their generosity and hope to make more progress towards our goal in the coming weeks.
